In technical terms it's fine - nicely captured, pretty face, well-framed scene.  But it's missing something.  I wish I knew what that 'something' was. 

Perhaps if you cropped the image so it only showed her, to focus it on her fascinating expression rather than mixing her mood with the smiling friend in the background?
